history"
Occasion Recordings
& Publications Ltd is a Scottish Registered Company
established in 1981. The company was formed to be just
as the name suggests a recording company and a publishing
house for mainly Scottish music. Launched in Glasgow
by Robin and Joyce Campbell the company has seen many
changes over the years and now operates from offices
in the South East of England. The Company today has
three Directors and has diversified to keep pace with
the vagrancies of a fast changing music industry.
Occasion retain
a presence and strong links with Scotland through our
Registered Office and the Occasion Shop administration,
which is based in Denny. If you feel we can help out
with any of the exciting and vibrant initiatives that
are literally raging through Scotland this year, then

I once had the privilege of
singing with the late Jimmy Blair's Band. For many years
I worked with his son Gary Blair, who is presently the
best accordionist on the world circuit, in my humble
opinion. Gary is the accordionist on my "Scottish
Holiday" album and it makes me proud to have shared
the studio with such an accomplished musician. With
his son Gary jnr, following in father's footsteps,
it's an awesome pairing the two of them. Click on the
